Why Does My New Carpet Smell Why Does My Carpet And Upholstery Smell Bad 48 Hours After Cleaning?

Why does my carpet and upholstery smell bad 48 hours after cleaning? - why does my new carpet smell

The Carpet Cleaning Guy told me that the carpet is dry in 4 to 6 hours after the cleaning. We left the house and put the heating for 7 hours and when we were dry again, not yet. It was 48 hours and the carpet is still damp and the smell is disgusting. Why is still wet, and most importantly, how we can do it dry? Thanks in advance!

I install carpet / Flat for life ... Sorry ... The problem is that we have your loop carpet was wet ... very wet ... is a considerable amount of time to take advantage to dry ... (pad only receives very little air over the carpet .. and even if the carpet ... Drys compression step on the carpet of water back from the platform and re-wetting the carpet) .. . Nothing under the bridge so that the dry dressing ... You have to let it dry by ... You can try to fly, or equipment for the cleaning of carpets rent in a rental (because it sucked the water), is also a shop Vac ...
The smell is most likely a problem of today ... though not as sharp or strong ... Sometimes it can reach the point where you feel unable to view them all ... But they can try to use powder after-sales and things for use on the surface of the carpet to alleviate the smell ...

Hello
If it is only a few days a musty odor of the water, not the mold.
The first thing to do is to dry the carpet. I guess you do not have a professional team for that.
1 / You have to bring pressure, so he did.
2 / establishment of a dehumidifier if you have one.
3 / Set the fan blowing on the carpet. If you can rent a belt would be better. This may take a few days to dry.
4 / If the carpet is dry, it should not smell in the situation.

Perhaps your area has high humidity? The smell will disappear after Drys, but are not really cleaned in accordance with the smell! : (

is the shape. Since the heat can help, but a dehumidifier and fan "carpet" (available from your local rent) will do. I had the same problem again. The carpet felt better before I have to clean too!

Look here! I was cleaning carpets for 20 years and my experience was the establishment of the nearest master! You need to have the carpet cleaning company to come back and work again properly! I have several exhaust fans and always make sure that carpets and furniture is manufactured right or your next cleaning is a free product! If the carpet is too wet may continue, the cushion does not absorb any water. A professional carpet extractor make sure they use the right equipment and everything should be period. If dry in 12 hours, not something with this type of cleaning it.He obviously not properly trained and certified.

You need fans in it. You need to be re-cleaned to get the smell. Sorry. It also happened me last year. Now, fans from all over the place! The heat does not help! Fans must
